Class Exercises

In groups of four and five, as listed below, please respond to the assigned task.

In all four groups please assume you are addressing your assigned issue in the Lower Fraser Valley (Hope to Georgia Strait). Be more specific about the context if you feel it is necessary.

In discussing who is involved and how think about the relevant powers, rights, responsibilities etc., under existing legislation and policies.

Please use a sheet of flip chart paper to explain your conclusions to the rest of the class. We will reconvene in 20 minutes and each group will have 2 minutes to outline its results as a basis for plenary discussion of each topic in turn.
