Subject: Water: How do we think about it?

Water is the focal topic of this course. Skim the Wikipedia entry for Water to develop an appreciation of its multi-dimensional nature and dip into parts that catch your interest. Many of the sub-topics are on the agenda for consideration in the course at some point.

As I indicated in class yesterday I will use Wikipedia as a source reference for the term or concept that I am putting on our list whenever it is a useful starting point. Sometimes I will add additional suggestions and upon occasion alternatives. The quality of Wikipedia entries fluctuates. Remember you can always go on-line and improve them. I also encourage you to send me alternative or additional references that you find to be useful starting points.
