Class Exercises

In groups of four and five, as for the first part of the class, please respond to the assigned task.

Imagine you have been invited to observe one of the more progressive approaches to water planning and management in British Columbia. Based on all that you have learned so far who would likely be involved and how?

In all four groups please assume you are addressing your assigned issue in the Lower Fraser Valley (Hope to Georgia Strait). Be more specific about the context if you feel it is necessary.

In discussing who is involved and how identify characteristics (i) in common to all four contexts; and (ii) specific to your context.

Please use a sheet of flip chart paper to explain your conclusions to the rest of the class. We will reconvene in 20 minutes and each group will have 2 minutes to outline its results as a basis for plenary discussion of each topic in turn.
